Josh Perez, known as 'JP', is a 29-year-old artist and digital marketing specialist from Paso Robles, California. A self-taught artist, he draws inspiration from sci-fi, fantasy, and pop-culture references to create his unique works of art.

From the Artist

"Ever since I was a little kid I've had a pretty wild imagination that was mainly fueled by my affinity for my favorite movies and tv shows, video games, skateboarding, and the natural beauty surrounding the central coast of California. Truthfully I always wanted to be an architect when I grew up, designing and drafting but could never bridge my creative visions into a full time career so I put my creativity into other ventures for the time being. I went on to help open and run many successful bar programs throughout the central coast of California and also earned a Bachelor's of Science Degree in Digital Marketing from Arizona State University. As we get older and busier it's hard to find that happiness we used to have as kids and I've been constantly searching for that same happiness and excitement. It was after constant forward trajectory in my search I realized I might need to stop looking ahead and maybe take a look back and think about the things that made me so happy when I was younger.

Josh Perez Paintings was born from the intentions of inspiring and finding the happiness in things you love. Here I want to share with you the things that have inspired me and made me happy from when I was a young kid and now. Hopefully you'll find something here that creates the same feelings in yourself and if not maybe we can make something together that can so please feel free to leave me a message and I'll be sure to get back to you.
